Names
I noticed a weird pattern with character's names on the show. Almost EVERYONE has the letter A as the second or third character in their name. Examples:
Jack
Kate
Sawyer
Sayid
Walt
Aaron
James (Ford)
Gale
Claire
Ana
Shannon
Charilie
Dharma
Plus the obvious Locke/Eko letter arrangment and the frequent use of the name "Tom".
This only contributes more to the theory involving Muptiple Personality Disorder, implying that they are all just one person (ala "Identity")?

Themes
I sat down a while ago and jotted down a few possible themes involved in LOST. Enjoy:
• What defines good and evil and how far would you go to advance either one?
• Evil as human nature
• Destiny, fate, faith, and coincidence
• 6° of separation
• Purgatory
• Sacrifice
• Perspective
• Time
Add to the list if you can!

Theory Update
Update: I was playing around with the Numbers and I noticed some strange things regarding the number 6… [bold marked are the Numbers]:
48 days divided by 6 = 8
42 divided by 6 = 7
4, (6), 8,…
23 – 2+3=6
42 – 4+2=6
15 – 1+5=6
666 = traditional “cursed” number

Season 2 on DVD
I just purchased the DVD set yesterday and I must say it's very interesting... especially the connection between Jack's father and a mysterious static figure...
Also, my brother pointed out to me that in the background of the main image on the front of the DVD, you can see dark shadow people (presumebly the Others) behind the characters, in the jungle.
Finally, I just listened the current episode of the "Your Theories" podcast, which had some interesting things to say about the character's changing eye color, in the show and in the recent season three poster. I mean , I could have sworn seeing Locke with blue eyes in the first few episodes. Now he has green! Weird.

THEORY...
Right now I'm working on a grand, yet simple theory. It's incomplete right now, but I can give you a little paragraph.
My theory is in regards to the real-world "6 Degrees" of human separation (that is surprisingly a major element of the plot according to the creators, being that they included it in the DVD set). The theory involves the idea that every group of 6 people are connected to each other, all leading back to one core person. Now, the concept of the number six is of certain significance, including the Numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) and the six major characters in LOST: Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Locke, Michael, and Hurley, who could very much be the core character tying the others together. And certainly these characters have crossed paths many times. I think that each of the Numbers are associated with each individual person, depending on that person’s own personal connection with each number. The idea that Hurley ties them all together is of particular relevance because, plausibly, Hurley could have been the reason the plane crashed in the first place. Evidence to the fact is that several characters, including Boone and Sawyer, have heard the Whispers mentioning the phrase “It will come back around.” Very interesting…

Wow...
...I just dropped down to ONE feed subscriber. Pathetic. Anyway, I don't really see why three people would unsubscribe before the first podcast even releases!?
Well, I'm okay. *Sniffle*

I just noticed that I have like 4 subscribers already. Wow. Anyway, I'm up on iTunes now (still custumizing a little bit), so subscribe rigt here.
My first actual cast will probably be a review of the Season 2 DVD set, then I'll post some of my funny impersonations of Desmond and Eko.
I'm going to experiment with the recording hardware that I use, because I don't have anything professional right now. I'll try Window's sound recorder, my mp3 player, and Audacity, just to see which one works best.
